Ken Hegemann's MXLO Magnetic Motor replicationMXLO Magnet Motor Open Sourcing Project

Summary: This open sourcing project sponsored by Pure Energy Systems, based on a design by MXLO, commenced Mar. 3, 2004 and was active for about a month.  At least 14 (8 verified) replications were built, none of which worked, proving that MXLO plans are neither easy nor complete, contrary to what they insinuate on their site, which now redirects to the U.S. government's renewable energy site. On July 10, a hint about shielding was given that was not contained in the plans.

Why Skeptical Comments were Censored for at Time on the PES_MXLO Discussion List

Subject: Why Skeptical Comments were Censored for at Time on the PES_MXLO Discussion List

Thomas,

You misrepresent the situation.

First of all, there was a time when skeptical comments were being allowed on the pes_mxlo list, and just about every negative point was made that could be made -- several times.  The skeptical point of view was made ad nauseum.

Those are still available for review by list members, and some of them were permanently archived and indexed from the site.

It was creating a vicious cycle of negativity, and we decided to say in essence, "Okay, we know that these negative possibilities exist.  We choose to just focus on the productive comments that will enable us to pursue this project and arrive at a working unit is such is possible."

We pursued per the instructions from MXLO, and we proved that their plans are not adequate, not clear, and that it is highly probable that no such working device exists at all -- and that if it does, it is so hard to obtain that it doesn't make a replication let alone a manufacturing project feasible.

After fourteen known replications and no working devices, the group pretty well decided that the jig was up.  Only one or two die-hards continued, and I've not heard any reports of progress from them.  I don't know of anyone working on this design at present.

Had the negative comments prevailed, we would not have arrived at such a decisive answer that PROVED something with tangible evidence, rather than just basing it on educated opinion, as you were.

It turns out that yes, you were right, but we proved that you were right, with empirical evidence; and what we now have is a website that documents the disproving of the MXLO to a profound significant extent.

MXLO has folded, and now redirects their site to the U.S. government's "renewable energy" website.

Sincerely,

Sterling D. Allan
