The cable on the ScanGaugeII is a standard CAT5 network cable. You can extend it with a CAT5 cable and a male-to-male coupler which you can get from Radio Shack or other electronics parts store. The only trick is to not use a "crossover" type cable or coupler. We have not offered to sell these since the length and color may be something the end user may want to pick out themselves.
